When Nichole told her parents that Scott was here mate, there wasn't a problem. Her mom already knew and her dad actually pleased about it.
If only he knew the bombshell that's waiting to be drop.
After a long while of beating around the bush, she finally came clean. And the tension in the air was so thick that you couldn't even cut it with a knife. But the look on Liam's face was what had all of us uneasy. It was blank. He didn't even say anything and somehow I got the feeling it was a bad thing.
Suddenly, he got up and left the room as if what was just said meant nothing to him. It was either that or he was trying to dispatch the feeling of beating the hell out of Scott. But I don't blame him. I would if I was in his place. Imagine how a father must feel to find out his precious little angel has been, deflowered. I'd probably break Scott's neck. But that's just me.
"What do you think is going to happen!" Stella finally blurted. The girl was probably holding it in the entire time.
Nichole had went back to her room with Scott. She's probably losing her mind. Liam left over an hour ago and he hasn't been answering anyone's calls. I don't know where he is or what he is thinking, but if I was Scott, I would disappear for a while.
"He's probably gonna kick out of the pack," Taylor said nonchalantly while picking her nails.
"TAYLOR!" Stella and I said in unison.
"Sorry," she shrugged in defense. "you asked."
"Don't worry Stella, he's not gonna kick him out....he'd probably gonna kick his ass first!"
"Hanna! I thought you were on my side!" Stella injected.
I just shrugged. It was kind of interesting watching her stress over nothing.
"Well, I guess it's settled then, Scott's doomed." Jess joined in.
Katelynn sighed dramatically. "We should probably start picking out coffins."
"GUYS!" Stella shrieked.
"Stella, calm down," Taylor said lazily. "Nothing's gonna happen, they're probably gonna sit down and talk about the whole baby situation."
"Then why did he just get up and leave? That doesn't say 'let's work this out' to me. We don't even know where he is!"
Taylor rolled her eyes at Stella's overdramatics. We watched as she paced back a forth and mumbling some sort of madness to herself.
All our heads turn to the door as it slowly creeps open. Nichole poked her head in and Stella practically attacked her.
"Oh, honey I'm so sorry it had to be this way! We're all going to miss Scott too!"
Nichole made a face and gently pushed her away. "What are talking about? Scott's not going anywhere."
"Bye!" I chirped.
Taylor and I had gotten to know each other better after the others had left the room earlier. So turns out, she's a wolf too (of course), and she also doesn't like Angela very much either. She also thinks her little 'transformation' is all an act, and that she'll give her four days to revert back to her whorish ways. She doesn't have a mate yet but she says doesn't want to be tied down so she has no interest in finding him anytime soon. But personally, I think that's going change once she finds him.
Which brings me back to the other topic, mate.
Curse you Sage!
I tossed and turned in my bed. It's so hard to sleep now that I know that Sage is somewhere else but here. Every time I think about how far away he is, it's like a big hole is gaping in my chest.
It feels like I'm suffocating.
I pulled the covers off and climbed out of bed. I walked over to the window and sat on the little wooden bench. I pulled my knees up to my chest and sighed.
"Sage, you stupid idiot," I mumbled to absolutely no one. Why did you have to go a get yourself arrested? I thought you had more self-control than that.
I looked out the window and sighed for the hundredth time. My breath fogged up the glass and I drew a little heart with my finger."I miss you."
And for a while, I just sat there.
