I couldn't take it anymore.

I soon felt hands holding me down, and pulling me back to the bed. I reached for them and was shocked when I felt a surge.

"Hanna wake up! It's just a dream!" He said.

I opened my eyes, and sure enough, he was there. He looked scared to death, but it was him.

I reached out and touched his cheek, wanting to make sure he was real. My thumb trailed across his lips and they parted somewhat. I couldn't help my lips from quivering as I took him in. It was the same green eye, the same jaw line, same everything!

I buried my face in the crook of his neck, a sob escaping my mouth.

"I love you." I finally admitted, and I felt him tense. "I can't believe it took almost losing you to see it but, I love you, Sage."

"When I was asleep," he started. "I wanted to say it too because I knew you did."

"You could've heard me?"

"Yeah. But I couldn't answer back. I honestly thought I wasn't going to wake up, and it terrified me. But when I heard you scream, when I felt your heart broke, I woke up. I had to make you feel better."

"Why did it feel like that when I thought you died?" I asked.

"Because we're mates. We can't live without the out each other. One of us dying is like the heart tearing in half. We were made for each other, and no one else."

After a long while, I said, "I accept you."

"What?" he asked, confused.

"I accept you. This. Everything your world has in it, I'm with you. I promise I won't run away anymore. Any threat your world throws at us will never tear us apart. I'm here to stay."

He hugged me. "You don't know how happy you've just made me," he whispered. "I'd never survive without you."

My hurt.

It hurt to know that she left him for someone else. She left this wonderful person for someone else. She left us- she left me.

I wanted to hate her but I couldn't, and I don't know why. When the mystery woman came to mind, I felt nothing.

I looked back at my Health teacher, Mr. Dole, pretending my mind was present the entire lesson. I don't know why I felt so missing these past days. Ever since the incident, my brain won't rest. I kept feeling like someone's watching me. I kept feeling like something was going to happen. It could be me just being paranoid over everything, slowly losing my mind. Or it could be that something was really wrong. I meant it when I said something greater than Jason was coming, and I feel like it already started- the signs were there.

Warning 1- Sage

Warning 2- Toby

But what I still couldn't understand was how? How did they do it? I was with Sage the entire time. And Toby? How did he even get outside? The kid doesn't even know himself! So many things are not making sense here, and I can't seem to stop myself from thinking about it.

The bell rang and I began picking up my things. I don't know what's it going to take to get me back on track, but it needs to happen soon. I know my father told me to be strong, but, I'm just so tired. I don't feel like I can fight anymore. We moved here in the first place to start over and forget the rough times. And I liked it in the beginning. Every was perfect and worry free- and, I actually thought I could truly be happy.
