“Come on, Nicholas. You’ve got this,” Tiana cheers.
I fight a grin when every instructor turns to look at her, giving her various looks of incredulity.
She shakes her head, letting me know she sees them, but she stays focused on Nicholas. He turns to look at her, and she gives him an encouraging nod.
Alpha Dane calls the start, and Nicholas takes off running.
I step up behind T, putting my hands on her hips as we listen. I know she’s hoping he figures it out. I press a kiss to the top of her head.
“What’s that for?” she asks distractedly.
“Because you’re a good person for helping him,
She shrugs, like it’s no big deal. But I doubt if the roles were reversed that Nicholas would have been so gracious with her. I’m not even sure that I would helped him as much as she did. If he listens to her and thinks about what she told him, he’ll get it.
It’s been longer than normal when Nicholas falls off The Beast. However, he leaps up and comes running over to us.

“Sorry!” he says, holding up his hands. “But I did it. I finally got past level four! I didn’t understand what you were telling me until I was up there, but then it made sense! Thank you!”
“You’re welcome. Congratulations!” she says. “I knew you could do it.”
I continue to glare at him as he goes to accept congratulations from the other Alphas. I feel Tiana’s hand on my cheek, drawing my gaze to hers.
“Mine,” I growl softly.
“Yes, I am,” she says, lifting up on her toes to kiss me.

Cole, Shane, and I are in a heated battle for top position on the leaderboard. The competition between us has become fierce. Now that Cassie is tutoring me in Finance, I’ve been able to keep up with them by acing my tests. I still hate working with numbers, but at least it makes sense to me now.
About a month before graduation, I get the call I’ve been waiting for.
“Hey sis. Is Shane with you?”
Since Shane and I are practically inseparable, he leans over so his face is on the video call.
“I’m right here,” he says.
“Good, because I want to introduce you to someone.”
“Ohhhh, Enya had her baby?” I squeal.
