Sam looked up at him. "Sorry." She mumbled and walked up to the driver's side. Once Blake unlocked it she opened it and slid up in and scooted over to the passenger side.

"You're fine Baby." He smiled reassuringly as he squeezed her hand.

Blake climbed up behind her and started the truck. "Are you oaky Baby?"

All she did was make a sound as she stared out the window into the darkness.

Blake left it at that, he knew these moods all too well, she wouldn't open up til she was ready.

He was glad when they finally made it back to Boulder. "Baby are you hungry?" He asked as he slowed down to the twenty-five speed limit. He glanced over when he didn't get an answer and realized she was asleep. He smiled as he pulled into the pizza place to get some food.

He parked, threw open the door, and ran in quickly to order their pizza. They said it'd take like fifteen minutes, he sat down at the bar to wait.

Sam jerked away quickly, she looked around groggily from sleep. She glanced to the driver's side and realized Blake was gone. Panic seized her quickly, where was he? She threw open her door quickly and out of the truck. Maybe he was in the pizza place, it was the closest place they were parked to.

She headed towards the door when she was stopped all of a sudden.

"You look like you need some help." The man said who towered over her and blocked her path to the restaurant door.

"No just heading in to eat with my boyfriend, I'm good."

"Giving me that excuse again, you really are wasting your time with that Blake Camden guy?"

"You're the guy from the other night, and it's not a waste of time." She pushed past him.

"Oh but it is, you need a real man that knows what to do with a woman, he's probably so inexperienced." He grabbed her wrist tightly.

"Ouch, let go of me!" She screamed in pain as the hand wrapped around her bandaged wrist.

"I barely got a hold of you, damn you're a bit of a whimp, maybe you can't handle me."

"Well I don't care and I'm not finding out." She yanked her wrist free stripping her bandage from her wrist in the process. She glared at the man and made her way to the door.

She was spun around and pushed up against the door hard. She let out a scream and gripped the door handle tightly opening it. They fell in, she landed a little away from the jerk and scurried to her feet.

Blake looked up when he heard a muffled scream, his eyes landed on two people falling through the door. He was up in a flash and hurried over when he saw the brown hair and highlighted hair flying.

He made the way to Aaron's, they still had so much to figure out with each other. All he knew was he loved her and didn't want to lose her.

Sam sighed as she stared out the window. She had to let Blake go, there was no other way to make things work, she had to go back to work. He would be so out of place with her typical crowd back home and she wouldn't ask that of him. She'd take the rest of the week and head back, she just couldn't drag him into her world. Not that she wouldn't be proud of having him with her she just couldn't let him be ruined in her world. Let them be ruined. This distancing herself had to be the way of things then he'd let her go.

She was glad when they pulled up to the house finally. She got out of the truck and headed up to the house not waiting for Blake to meet her like he always did. She waiting for him to unlock the door then bolted to the kitchen sitting the pizzas on the table then went up the stairs to her room.

Blake rushed after Sam, she was acting weird and he had to get to the bottom of things. He walked in seeing Sam struggling with the gauze. He took it from her as he knelt down in front of her. "Baby what's going on?" He began to take her other gauze off then her shoes and those wraps as well.

"I can do it Blake just stop." She went to pull away but when those brown eyes met her gray ones she froze. He slowly stood up and sat on the bed their eyes still locked. "Blake," she whispered and their lips met in a frenzy of passion. So much for fighting her feelings for him.

Blake slowly pulled back and laid his hand against her cheek. "Sammy, what's going on?"

"I'm going back Blake, in a week." She sobbed a little.

Blake stared at her. "Are you sure?"

"Yes and you don't have to come with me Blake, you can stay here." Sam pulled her gaze away from him as tears began to start.
