"Wakie Wakie."
I recognized that voice that whispered by my ear. That honey scent which greeted my nostrils for a brief second, they were enough to jerk me from my beautiful sleep. Rather I turned on my bed, pulling the blanket so I could get my sleep back.
"Kevin wake up!" Claire pitched as she strolled to our wardrobe.
"What time is it?" I grumbled, still reluctant to open my eyes. I clung unto my pillow, imagining it was her for a split second.
"This is past six."
"Past six? It's too early." I replied in a faint tone. "Claire come back to bed." I whispered already feeling my sleep returning. I usually wake up by ten or eleven in the morning but this past few days had seemed to differ.
"This is not the time Kevin. We have a long day ahead of us." She stated lucidly. My eyes faintly opened to see my mate wearing a casual blue top over her white pair of trousers.
"Today's just like any other day." I mumbled.
"Don't tell me you've forgotten Simon, the Alpha of Red Rose Pack would be visiting today?" She queried. The sleep in my eyes instantly vanished. My head had finally booted enough to remind me I was going to meet a prestigious Alpha. How could I have forgotten?!
I alighted from the bed briskly while Claire eyed me.
"So it's now you remember?"
I rubbed through my messy hair frantically, perhaps my worry for Aunt Flora overnight caused my forgetfulness.
She smiled.
"Get a bath and DRESS WELL, you don't wanna make a bad impression." Her voice tousled my thoughts.
I scoffed.
"Like I care about impression."
"Kevin!" She toned as she neared me. I wondered how she had managed to get dressed and look this dazzling.
"Do this for your Pack. This is your first official meeting with an outsider, you have to be on your best behaviour as possible."
I rolled my eyes, there she goes with her talks. She seemed to be taking this meeting more serious than I did. Perhaps due to her Luna position.
"Kev, promise me." She held my cheek softly.
"I promise. Can I have my bath now?" I said feigning a smile to ease her impending worries.
"I can see that already." She pointed before returning to my clothes. I could have complained she was taking things too extreme but she would obviously try to coarse me with,
"Do this for your Pack."
"Now this is the perfect outfit!" She beamed as she pulled out a checkered blue and white shirt complemented with a pair of black Jeans and a white sneaker.
"This is the best I could find, but seriously though you need to change your wardrobe style." She muttered while she approached me. "So what do you think?" She wore her smile again.
"It's wonderful, look at us, wearing matching outfits." I feigned a smile before relieving the clothes off her hands. I pulled my shirt off but she turned away, obviously trying not to to gawk. Thankfully I wasn't in the mood either, so I briskly changed into this outfit.
Her lips spread into a smile of admiration once I finished. She busied herself combing my messy hair with her hands till it settled to her own taste. Then pulled me towards the mirror, standing beside me with a grin.
"Now this is how you should look like." She chirped.
I smiled as a sharp wave of excitement coursed through me.
"And this is how my Luna should look like." I turned her to me, resting my hands on her waist while she curled her arms around my neck. Both of us enchanted in each other's eyes.
"You look dazzling."
