This past few months has had me saying sorry to Angel more often than not. Irrespective of how she assures me we are fine, I still can't rid of the guilt.

To every unannounced visit from Nora, I apologized

To every headline news that talks about how Nora's prenancy is a silver lining to I and Nora's clouded relationship, I apologised

To every time Angel is forced to go baby shopping with Nora, I apologised.

To the times I had to leave Angel due to an emergency call from Nora about the baby, I apologised

Right now, I am sick of apologising and I'm sure she's sick of it to.

The only words I ever want to say to Angel for the rest of our life is "thank you, and I love you," not sorry. I want my peace of mind and happiness back and not this guilt that's eating me alive.

Today I have an interview with a popular talk show in which my P.A suggested , saying it was good for the company.

Deep down I know whatever questions they have planned has nothing to do with the business and everything to do with my relationship with Nora and the baby.

Irrespective of what games they'll be playing, I have plans of my own and they are one of the major tool to my plans success.

As thought of my plans crossed my mind, it brought smile on my face and I decided call Angel.

She picked on the first ring which made me smile.

"Someone's eager to hear my voice this afternoon. looks like you missed me?" I asked.

"Says the man who called instead of busying himself with his work . She fired back not willing to admit the obvious.

"Fine you win, I missed you. Did you not miss me?" I decided to play her way.

"I do with every passing breath Jack..." She said with a soft sigh that really made what she said feel so real.

"Angel, I'll be on this talk show tonight.

I want you to watch it. " I inform her.

"Oh...so you won't be accompanying me over to mum's place?" She asked a little disappointed.

"The devil is also an angel love." I said with a smirk.

We continued to bicker back an forth like high school girls till I heard a knock on my door.

"Got to go love, duty calls. I'll send you the details for the show later."

"Love love dad. See you at Grandpa's place . Don't forget to come with a gift for their anniversary." She reminded me.

"I already forgot" I told her.

"Dad!!" She chided.

"Fine fine, bye . Love you." I said with a wide smile on my lips before ending the call and telling the person at the door to come in.

" Good afternoon Mr. Westfield, the meeting room has been set, I'm here to excourt your to meeting sir.

"Thank you, give me five minutes."
