James offered to take me back to the hotel and I agreed, but I wasn't going to just go home right away. I was going to wait at his hotel room and make sure that our marriage was completely over before we just ignored each other for the rest of our lives.
I got an extra key to the hotel room with ease. Apparently the lady at the check in desk remembered me and Nicolas as the "Honeymooners" from last night. I went all the way to top floor and opened the hotel room door. The suite looked the same way that it had before, when we left this morning. But the Nicolas's clothes that were on the floor were now folded on the newly made bed. Everything else was exactly the way I remembered leaving it.
I walked over to the windows and stared down at the beautiful Vegas view that the room offered. If there was anything that I would miss, it would probably be this view. Even in the morning, the view was amazing. I could only imagine how it would look at night.
My stomach began to growl and I noticed that I probably hadn't eaten since last night. I picked up the hotel phone and ordered food, on the room's tab of course.Might as well use this marriage to my advantage.
After 5 minutes, the food arrived and I chowed tf down. I didn't realize how hungry, I was until the food canal. After an hour of waiting, I realized that I had caught the itis. I laid down and closed my eyes. And quickly drifted off to sleep.
In my dream, I watched a wedding take place. I couldn't see the bride and groom's face but I could practically fell the love coming from the coupe.
"Ladies and gentlemen, I now present to you Mr. and Mrs. Nicolas Stark." The preacher announced.
"Look I know we started off on the wrong foot. You probably think I am some gold digging slut but Im definetly not. My kiss with james didn't really mean anything." I said, hoping he would say something. When he didn't, I just continued."Honestly last night I didn't know who you were or where you came from. I just wanted to let go and have fun. My type of fun just so happened to include a few drinks. And a few drinks sort of lead to our sham of a wedding. But I can promise you that I don't want a single penny for any of this. You can keep all your money. I just wanted you to know that."
I finished and looked at Nicolas, hoping some emotion would show on his face. I was greatly disappointed when it didn't. Nicolas didn't make a sound. He stayed quiet the entire time I spoke. I didn't know how he felt. And I suddenly felt extremely stupid for coming here.
"Forget I said anything." I said, allowing the hurt to show in my voice. I didn't care that he knew he hurt my feelings. I was extremely venerable right now. I felt like a ticking time bomb of emotions. I just wanted to fall and cry somewhere and disappear.
