"Yes." I nodded. "He wants to know."

"Then tell him."

"I can barely say it to myself, how can I say it to him?"

"But you can say it to me."

I sighed. "It's easy to talk to you. I don't know why but it is."

"Alright. Wassup."

"Okay, first of all, I'm literally a killing machine. You remember how I killed those tree in the woods? Yeah, well those aren't my first victims. According to Troy, I'm capable of much worst. I was four when I kill someone for the first time. I paralyzed him, broke all his ribs and punctured his lungs. I let him suffered before I withered his body. I let him suffer, and it didn't bother me at all. And now that I'm like this all the time, I feel like it's gonna all come back to me, or worst, I might hurt somebody. I almost destroyed Troy when he killed that little girl to help me. It's like anyone who tries to help me ends up hurt or dead. My parents, Troy, you...what would you think of me if you were him? Especially when he barely knows what's going on? I could hardly get the Jason thing pass him, and, this time, he's the one in the dark. It's not like the first time when he knew what the problem what was, so it wasn't that hard decoding me. But it's not something you can make go away like Jason. It's internal. I just feel like if I can't control both sides of myself, the dark part will take over. And I won't be able to come back."

"Wow!" His eyes widened. "You just threw a lot at me!"

"Sorry," I said sheepishly. "I guess we probably should have started this the first night you asked."

"It's okay. And honestly, I think you should tell him. He won't run away from it, or you. If he waited this long to be mated to you, and after all this shit that happened to still not reject you, he knew what he was getting into. And if I know Sage, his patience and understanding is probably the most sickening thing about him. Admirably, but sickening. On the outside, it might not seem like it but he's figuring out how to help you on the inside. He'll even blame himself for letting you think that way, for not realizing sooner. And considering he knows nothing like you said, I can already hear the late night pacing on my ceiling. He can help you. You just need to go to him."

I looked back to Sage to see that he was gone. A pang of disappointment struck my chest and I wondered what made him leave. I told him I'd be back.

"So you mean to tell me, that after all this time, you guys are just going on the first date?"

"We didn't exactly have time to sit down and chat Nichole. We left from Jason to Tylon the very first day I went back to school."

"Right. I forgot the first date was a bust because of me and Scott becoming public." Nichole thought over. "Oh!" she suddenly gasped. "You should wear that dress from the first time. It was meant for the first date. Now it gets to fulfill its purpose."

"Ewww! Ketchup!" I scrunched my nose. "Of all the weird cravings you've had, that's the most disgusting one ever."

"It's not that bad actually." she insisted. "I like grape, I like ketchup. It was only a matter of time."

"No, that poor baby must be begging you for real food."

"She's fine." Nichole fanned off. "Just two more weeks til I pop this sucker out."

"Okay 1, how do you know it's a girl? And 2, what do me two weeks? I don't think you're even halfway through that pregnancy yet."

She just laughed. "I'm not human, remember? Pregnancy doesn't last the full nine months for us, just four. And I know it's a girl because every time Scott wants to do some involving physical activity, the girl would kick my bladder in until I tell him no."

"How does that tell you anything?"
