"Oh yeah," I pulled away from him. "I need some background information on Tylon. And information that's not in the library." I then added when he went to speak.

He smirked. "Clever girl." He began rummaging through the first draw I skipped over because all that seemed to fill it was receipts after receipts. But under that big pile of paper was a thick gray folder with Tylon's insignia stamped onto of it. "I saw this once when I had just moved into my dad's office, but I think he even forgot to tell me it was in there. I haven't flipped through it yet so,"

He dropped the folder on the desk.

"Why don't you take a look first?"

"Or we can do it together?"

He smiled. "I'd liked that."

And boy did I miss that smile.

It's been awhile since I looked at him, and I mean actually look at him. His mop of curls were due for a much-needed trim but I almost felt like running my fingers through them in their soft, fluffy state. He hadn't shaved in a while so the stubbles that took his lower face made him look more of man that I'd realized. His eyes were no longer green but he said the natural color would return after a few more months. His shoulders seemed broader and stronger, his back muscles clenching and tightening as he read the pages I realized I wasn't paying attention to. His biceps flex vigorously with the slight of movements of his arms, and it took all I had in me to keep my hands to myself. I then decided to focus my mind on what he was saying, but he depth of richness that became of his voice just added to the mixture.

Is this what becoming Alpha does to a person?

I swallowed, urging the heat that was intensifying in me to distinguish.

"Hanna?"

My head snapped up from the spot I trained it on. He stood straight, no longer doubled over on the desk as he faced me. My face must have looked like a kid getting caught stealing a cookie from the cookie jar because his face broke out in a shit-eating grin.

"I said can you believe there were more of you?"

I blushed, knowing I didn't hear a thing he said. "What?"

"And I bet that's what everyone else is using their two hours for."

His hand reached for my leg, wrapping it around his waist. I was surprised when the other one followed it pursuit without the assistance of Sage. As he nibbled on my collarbone, my hands locked around his neck and I felt him pull me closer to himself. I felt a bulge building from his lap as my short breaths filled the air. It wasn't long before his lips reached mine and I was hit by a wave of dizziness and unfulfilled wanting. As I pulled his shirt over his head, a familiar thought sprung in my head.

The last time we were in his office, the desk Sage was leaning on was in shambles at our feet. It took a lot of convincing to get Liam to understand what actually happened, but no one else had believed us.

Now here we are again.

I froze as he peeled the dress from my body. It would be the first time he'd completely see these new markings on my body, it would be the first time anyone had ever seen them.

He kissed my lips softly as if he'd heard my thought, which he probably did. As he pulled away I didn't wait a second later to kiss him back with much force. He responded immediately, his hands tucking my hair behind my ears. He pushed away from the desk but I didn't open my eyes. I then hear the door open and Sage's feet padding the staircase. His foot kicked open yet another door before I heard the click of the lock. The mouthwatering scent that filled up my senses was enough to tell me I was in his room. His lips were still tasting the life out of mine as we both descended to the bed. My hands crept down his sculpted stomach until they found his waist. My hand pulled his belt loose and undid his pants with the utmost care. He kicked them off his leg and pulled me up to sit on hip lap again.
