"I don't have to tell you everything that goes on in my life!"

He kneed me in the stomach and I fell off of him, gasping for air. Now I was the one being treated like a rag doll. He must be really pissed off then.

"Just because you're going to be Alpha doesn't mean I'm gonna run and tell you every little thing as it happens like some fucking suck up! Cause I don't have to kiss your ass, cause no matter what," he smirked. "I'm right behind you."

At this, I gain some new bound strength and attacked him. We proceeded in making the other look like hell until my dad came a broke up the fight. Everyone was now outside wondering what started this, but I don't even want to think about it right now. I feel like if I don't leave, I might lose it again.

"What hell is going on out here!" He bellowed. "Toby came crying to me to tell me you and Scott were killing each other! I don't know what started this but you two better patch things up before the dinner!"

I glance at Scott. His clothes were ruined, his face was bruised, his arms were starched, his lip was split open.

"I'm not going if he's going."

"It's his party, Sage!"

"Well, I guess you'll all have to celebrate without me."

I transformed into my wolf and ran off into the woods. I think it's safer for everyone if I didn't go. I need to cool off and I can't handle being able to sniff him out in a room full of people.

Before running off, there's one thing I regret doing and that was looking at Hanna. I stared into her eyes; it was the wrong thing to do because I saw it.

She looked afraid.

Hanna POV

"Please, please, please talk to him." Nichole pleaded.

"Why me?"

I'd admit, I'm a bit jumpy with the idea of talking to Sage. His wolf was way bigger than Katelynn's and it was a little terrifying seeing him like a burst of anger. But I didn't have to worry about seeing him soon because he still hasn't come back yet.

After the fight with Scott and Sage, Emily thought it was best to cancel the dinner. I was a little confused as to how things got like that so I had Nichole tell me everything. I guess when Sage found out Scott was Nichole's mate or whatever, he lost it. I'd be mad too if my best friend was hiding that from me, but I think Sage is being too dramatic about the whole thing. They're mates! So what! It's not something getting worked up over.

"Because he'll listen to you. You're his mate so he has literally no choice."

I considered this, but I wasn't too confident about the whole thing.

"What if he doesn't want to talk to me?" I said after a while.

"He won't turn you down so do it please!"

I began walking over towards him. "Aren't you modest." I cleared my throat.

Okay Hanna, keep it cool. Don't let him distract you! No matter how sexy he looks just maintain eye contact!

"Look," he said, touching my arm, and boy did sparks fly! "I know they send you up here to talk to me but I don't want to get into that right now."

"Okay then. So guess I'll be leaving."

"No," he said before I could go anywhere. "I think it's time for us to talk."

And this is where I retreat.

"No. No, we don't."

"Yes, we do."

"I don't think so. We have nothing to talk about-"

Out of nowhere, he kissed me. I'd be lying if I said I didn't like it cause I did. A lot. I realize he's been doing this only when he wants to shut me up or prove my feeling towards him, and I always give in. He has too much control over me and I don't like it.
