I slapped his hand away. It was only when people test my will that it reminds me of who I am. And I'm not about to give in to this twisted psychopath.
"Don't touch me." I spat out.
"So you do bite!"
"And you're about to get bitten! Get the hell away from me!" I tried to push my way from him, but he held me strong and backed me onto the bed.
"No can do baby girl, I paid good money for you and I'm going to get my money's worth. That's if, Jason doesn't find out my little surprise."
"Get off of me!" I thrashed underneath him, my struggles being proved pointless. He was so much strong than me and I feel my body weakening with every attempt. Either that, or he was getting stronger.
"Just give up, I know you want it." He breathed. He lips hungrily took my lips and I let out a shrill scream. I felt his tongue demanding entrance so I bit it before he can get it anywhere in my mouth. He pushed away, immediately examining the damage.
And the look that came across his face? All I know is that I was in for it now.
Slap!
"You little bitch!" And yes, it did hurt. And yes, I did cry. "Come here!" he said, gripping my hair. "Just for that, I'm gonna make you beg for forgiveness."
He then proceeded in ripping my clothes off, disregarding my pleas. I felt his hand began to roam my body and my cries dwindled to whispers and soon became nothing. I gave up. There was nothing I could do, no one would help me.
I can't save myself this time
"Stop." I heard an angry growl. We both turned to see Jason, ready to murder someone. "What the hell do you think this is?" he marched over. "I had my accountant ran your check. It bounced."
I felt the man tense up against me. "Jason, um, what do you mean?"
"It means," he ripped the man from me and held him by his neck. "you tried to make me look like a fool, which means you're dead."
As I witness him ripped out the guy's throat, his eyes held this crazed looked. He seemed to be losing it even more lately.
He turned to me and sneered. "Clean this up."
[Flashback end]
"So, so nobody..."
"No. Jason felt like other guys would try the same thing so he cut it off. It all just went back to me being beat and used as a slave. I thought you weren't gonna come for me." I cried. "I gave up on you everytime they hurt me because you said you wouldn't let them get me. But they did Sage, and, and I don't want them to come back."
"I know I can't erase what happened, but I'm sorry. I was supposed to protect you but I didn't. I can't take back what happened, but please forgive me. I don't want to lose you again... it feels like you're saying goodbye. You can't leave me." he whispered. "I won't, make it without you." He held my cheeks and forced me to look at him. My hand slowly reached up and wiped his tears as he spoke. "I love you."
"I didn't."
"Then how did he know?" I asked but was met by silence. Her eyes then met mine before she averted them. "Nichole!"
"Mike and I were talking, alright! Sage was just eavesdropping on the conversation. But none of this would have happened if you told him a long time ago!"
"I couldn't! I told you when this kidnapping thing blows over, I'd tell him!"
"Well that's not going to happen." she said in a monotone. "Sage is more pissed off that before and how do you think it's gonna be when I have to see him every day!"
"We're mates, Nichole! We're not going to not be together! I don't get why he's so mad about it?"
It seemed as if all trace of anger vanished from her face at that moment and was replace by another. Guilt.
"You're not telling me something." I said. I wasn't asking, I was telling her to tell me. But she didn't answer me. As a matter of fact, she was looking at anything else in the room but me. "What is it?"
"I don't know what you're talking about." she quietly replied, but I was losing my patience.
"I know when you're lying, I out of everyone should know best. So don't." I said sternly. "Look," I took on a calmer tone. "I know you're hiding something from me and I feel like it's important. So-Will you just look at me! Nichole!" I gently cupped her cheeks and forced her to look at me. "I want to help you, okay, but I can't do that if you won't tell me what it is."
