I frowned my brows. Oh my gosh, the resemblance.

They're related!

"Wait, you mean he's your brother?" I asked outraged, and she nodded amusingly. "And not your boyfriend?" I clarified. Now it was her turn to look outraged.

"EW no! He's my brother alright! And even if we weren't related, I wouldn't date him!" she said matter-of-faculty.

"OK, sorry. I just thought that because you were the one that came to defend him."

She scoffed."He practically begged me to talk to you because he thought you were mad at him. And quick question, are you mad at him?"

"I was at first, but I not anymore. But don't think I won't get him back, cause I will."

She chuckled. "Don't worry I'll be sure to warn him."

We stopped in front of a class that I realized was Government. I guess I don't have to go on a hunt for it after all.

"Well, I should be going. I have Math next." Nichole said and then walked off. "Maybe I'll see you after school!"

She wants to see me after school?

Does this mean that I finally have a friend? And a normal one too?

The sound of the bell jolt me out of my thoughts and I notice the halls were beginning to fill up. I quickly made my way into the class before I could be taken away with the crowd. As much as I hate Government, it actually saved my life awhile ago.

I'm gonna die! I can't believe I'm gonna die!

If I knew gym would be this dangerous I would probably have skipped with some other kids. I know what you're thinking, you're just overreacting, Hanna. But no, I'm not. Two kids already got their nose busted with the dodge ball and I couldn't help but feel that I was next. And just as that thought filled my mind, a guy from the other team threw a ball at me, but I dodge it by a split second.

"Hey!" I yelled.

"Sorry love, but that's how the game goes." he laughed and I saw a certain someone joining in.

Sage.

Alright, I see how it's going. I picked up the ball that was tossed at me and aimed it at him. I took the opportunity while he was distracted and gave it a good throw.

Why is this happening to me?

"NO. I don't hate you but I don't like you either."

"You're confusing me," he said, but I was done trying to get it through to him. I'm out of here.

"Goodbye, Sage," I said and walked away. I was halfway down the hall when I heard him yell my name, and I turned around. "What?"

"Nice ass," he smirked. I felt all the blood rushed to my cheeks and I hurried away.

I crashed down on my bed feeling utterly exhausted. Work today really took one out of me. I never knew kids could be so stressful. I literally tackled down four of them today. And don't jump to conclusions. They may be small but don't be deceived cause they're stronger than they look!

I looked at my left hand to see bite marks that Toby gave me. The little brat! And after I gave him extra time at recess today this is how he repays me? He might be 5 years old but he had the strength of a 10-year-old. I don't know what his problem was today because he was usual the best behaved, even though he was a little cocky for his age.

Later that evening I emerged from the shower from a very relaxing bath. I hopped into bed and dragged up the comforters, hoping sleep would come soon. I plan on going to bed early tonight so I wouldn't oversleep tomorrow.

All of a sudden I felt like someone was watching me with my window open like that. I climbed out of bed and went to look, to see nobody was there. But I felt eyes on me. I've been having that weird feeling ever since I got home, but I just shrugged it off. Now, the feeling was stronger this time and I can't ignore it. I heard a ruffling in the bushes and quickly shut the window, and turned off the light.
