"You're getting worried again. And I don't want that." Her soft voice broke my thoughts.

"And I don't want that for you too. Being in pain." I mumbled.

"Kev," she pursed her lips. "I'll be fine."

"You know, My Mother told me there is a way to speed up your healing." I let the words roll out.

"And what's that?"

I cleared my throat, trying to summon courage.

"By Marking you."

She smiled and it surprised me a bit.

"So what's holding you back?" She asked and I frowned a little.

"I thought you weren't ready." I stuttered. "Or maybe I wasn't ready. Marking is an intimate process you know."

"So," she pursed her lips and I knew she was going to say something naughty instantly. "You're afraid to fuck your mate?"

My lips parted slightly but deep inside, I imagined my jaw dropping.

"I-i'm a virgin." I stammered.

"I'm a virgin too but I'm not scared to fuck you." She arched her brow upwards and I could tell she was totally sincere.

"Or maybe my Alpha is a little cowardly than I thought."

On impulse, my grip on her waist tightened while my other hand slowly toured up her bare back. The feel of her smooth skin and warmth was enough to arouse me. Lust was beginning to overpower me again and she knew. Yet she reacted positively to my touch, her eyes beckoning me to do more.

"The way you tease me wants to make me have you badly. Whenever we touch and even those nights we spend on the bed cuddling." I whispered in oblivion and she rewarded me with a naughty smile.

"That's what I want. I want to make you to crazily crave for my body badly, till you lose your sanity, till I become your cure."

"If that's it then," I brought my face closer, my gaze falling on her gleaming lips. "Then just forget ever seeing my perfect chest you run your pretty little fingers on or my hair which your hands never stops playing with."

"You're the Wolf of Justice now." She said almost in a quietness but enough to pass a stern note.

"Since when did you know?" I glanced at her.

"That night."

I gulped down my saliva, Hoping those awful memories wouldn't sprang up as I stared across the silent road we were touring in.

"Sometimes I feel I don't deserve it."

And her hand gently caressed my cheek in response.

"You deserve it because it's shaping you for good. Your life was dark before but now," she paused. "It's beautiful."

My legs halted abruptly as we finally arrived a lake side. How we had gotten here confused me because earlier before, the road was just a dark, empty and sikent place.

"How is this possible?" I muttered in oblivion while I dropped her carefully. I was easily captivated by the view. The moon and stars were definitely closer to us and the lakeside had two duck paddling gently causing silver ripples to appear. Apart from it's captivating beauty, it was peaceful. As I stared at the moon, all I could see was memories of my childhood. Where I played hide and seek with my father while my mother would busy herself making new recipes.
