The laughter, the joy, the words, everything felt like I was reliving them. And tears started to grace my eyes.
"My Father bought this place for me when I was young. He had a witch seal it off from the human eyes." She mentioned, her gaze on the moon too. "He called this place, the lake of memories." I swallowed my saliva as I refused to remove my gaze.
"This place only shows you beautiful memories of our lives. It's a place where we find peace and reflect. And regardless whether it's daytime or not, it always stays the same."
In oblivion, our fingers slowly intertwined and I could vividly see the time when we first kissed reflecting on the moon. I felt droplets of rain fall on my cheeks.
"It's raining Claire." I mumbled even though I wanted to remain here.
"No it's not." She mumbled, her gaze still focused on the moon.
"But it is."
"Then let it drench us." She whispered and like an enchanted being, I nodded in agreement.
"Let it drench us." I repeated her words like one who was charmed.

It came with the sweetest feeling of joy and excitement. Our sparks dosed on a higher note and I could feel the mate bond between us deepen. I could totally feel what she was feeling, I could see some of her memories, I could read some of her thoughts.
We were like one and on that note, my pace quickened. Giving her deep strokes with pride. This ecstasy felt like forever but in the end, we both had our orgasms.
Our breaths were slowly returning to normal and a smile imprinted on our faces. I kissed her one last time. This time it was deep again, but not with the usual lust. It was my assurance that we were one. That even when the storm came, I would be there. I might be bad at all things but I would never exchange her for anything.
It was a kiss of promise. One I never ever dreamed to break.
