I watched as a young woman, in a group close to us, threw champagne in an older man's face. The people in that group didn't look amused except this one guy. His smile looked familiar and his laugh sent chills down my spin. As if noticing that I was watching he looked up at me. Those eyes.......I know those eyes..

"Oh please baby Jesus in heaven let that not be him!" I prayed to myself as all air left my lungs.

NICOLAS'S POV

For the past few weeks, since I've arrived in New York, I've been looking for Arianna. I went to every café, restaurant, and neighborhood that I felt she would be in. I've asked around, hoping someone would help me. But she wasn't in any of those places. I started to give up hope these past few days.

Jim was with me every day. He offered to help me by hiring a private investigator and I agreed. I found out where she lived, whom she lived with and some shocking news about this guy named Kyle. I should have guessed that Sinclair would sink her paws into my life again but this was just too far. Hiring a random guy to keep Arianna away from me was a new low, even for Sinclair.

I watched Arianna's apartment, for a few days, hoping she might come out just once. But she never did. If she was in there, she had to be tired of staring at a bunch of walls all damn day. Hell I would be too.

"Arianna." I whispered to myself, completely shocked. As soon as she read my lips, she started hyperventilating and getting all teary eyed. The man next to her, tried to get her to calm down and breathe again. The guy started walking her over to a table and I wanted to walk over to her. But something caught my eye. She was holding her bulging stomach as she walked.

She was pregnant!? How many months!? By who!? A million questions bounced around my mind as I just watched her. I really wanted to go over to her but my body kept still. Who was the guy with her!? I recognized his face from one of the photographs from the private investigator's info on Arianna. He was one of her roommates, Marcus or something like that. But he was gay! So why the hell are they together, and she's knocked up.
