Fated Or Accident novel Chapter 26

I put the address to Sinclair's busted apartment building in my GPS and headed over there. I read over some more of the file and found out that her parents kicked her out because her fiancé Nicolas Stark broke up with her. I guess it was some rich people problems. Anyway she's now living with her ex employee and new boyfriend Kyle. The instructions were to kill Sinclair but if Kyle was there, I had the green light to shoot him too.

Sinclair had a hit put out on her because of some shady business deal she did with the Italian Mafia. Apparently we had snitches within their business and Sinclair was plotting to rat out some very important people in the US government. The boss to my boss didn't like that so I got picked to do the hit. Most of my jobs were like this, since I didn't really like being undercover too much. People were too nosey in my missions.

I pulled up to the apartment building and circled the block. I decided to park a few blocks away since it was 10pm and no one was actually outside. I went to the building across the street from Sinclair's and set up the sniper riffle to aim and shoot. I was right across from Sinclair's apartment and had a perfect view into her apartment. I was perfectly set up to shoot whomever in the apartment. I noticed no one was there and I waited a whole hour for them. I felt like packing up and going back home to Arianna but then I saw the first sign of life in the apartment.

I saw Sinclair walking around with a guy, whom I guessed to be Kyle, following behind her. They were arguing about something and I didn't really care about whatever it was so I didn't try to read lips. From my view, their apartment had three windows. I could only shoot in one since the other two had things that would block my shot.

I waited until they walked over to the free window. Kyle hugged Sinclair close and I took that chance to shoot him in the head. He slumped forward onto Sinclair and she freaked out. She started screaming and fell back onto the couch. She realized he was dead and started panicking hysterically.

"You have been terminated Clair dear." I said as I shot her in her head and watched her take her last breath.

My job, most days, was difficult since I killed people but it was always the people that tried to destroy America with their secrets and lies. I normally pushed the thought of actually killing people to the back of my mind. Thinking of Kelly normally kept me from going crazy but now I had Arianna too and I had more motivation to keep America the land of the free.

ARIANNA'S POV

For the past month, Kevin and I have been catching up. We spent most of this past month, when he wasn't suspiciously away, catching up and reminiscing. I missed my brother so much. He told me about Boot Camp and this girl he's on and off again with named Kelly. Kevin promised to bring her to meet me soon but I don't know when exactly.

Today Marco was dragging my 8 month pregnant ass out of my comfortable apartment to go pick up some of his friends so they could hang out or whatever. I didn't understand why I had to leave with him to do that but whatever.
