I just got out of the shower and was heading towards my room singing Miguel, loud as hell and off key just to show Marco how mad I was about leaving for no damn reason.
"If you be the cash
I'll be the rubberband
You be the match
I'mma be your fuse
Boom!
Painter baby you
Could be the muse
I'm the reporter baby
You could be the news
Cause your the cigarette
And I'm the smoker
We raise a bet...
Cause you're tha joker"
I walked over to my closet and tried to pick out a simple dress that didn't make me look like Free Willy. I felt like I was going to pop at any minute. I picked out a blue and sea green maternity sundress, since it was a very cool April outside. I paired it with green sandals and let my hair air dry. My natural curls actually looked nice for once today so I chose to let my hair do what it wanted to do.
We drove for a whole hour to pick up one of his friends who's name I could NOT have cared less about. One thing you don't do, is piss off a pregnant woman. She will beat the hell out of you in the middle of labor and not regret a damn thing. That's how I was feeling right now. This entire pregnancy, I was off and on with the good and bad feelings. I was mean one second, turn around and start crying, and then I'm all happy. I felt bipolar. Besides the swollen feet, bad back, and loss of breath, my bipolar emotion change was one of the worst things I had during pregnancy. I couldn't wait to give birth. At least then I didn't have to feel like a whale.
We left Marco's friend's house, which by the way, had a brand new car sitting in front of it. When I asked his friend about the car, he said it was his mother's. But he also said that he lived by his self and his mother lived in California. He couldn't have driven his damn self? Tf was going on with these people?
Anyway, Marco's friend tried to have conversation with me but I definitely wasn't having any of that so I ignored him the entire ride. Luckily he was one of the bright crayons in the box so after I didn't answer his first 2 questions, he picked up on the LEAVE ME THE HELL ALONE mood I was in.
I spent two hours away from the apartment so when I got back, I wobbled my ass onto the elevator, leaving them on the garage floor and half ran/ half wobbled back to the apartment. My feet were killing me and I wasn't even standing on them too long. See what I mean about feeling like a whale. I opened the door and all the lights were out.
"Shit! I didn't pay the electric." I said out loud. I stepped in one step and....
"SURPRISE!!!!!!!!!!!!!" A bunch of voices shouted.
I was caught off guard so I didn't really know what the hell to do. I was sure I wasn't about to get kidnapped so I wasn't going to run but all these damn people in my apartment were going to make me have a heart attack. Everyone was laughing, of course except for me. I searched the room for someone I remotely knew and low and behold I found Alysia.
